I think this would be one of my heavens: Ribbons.
DFS
Had my first shift at the Dress For Success on 13th Ave. last night. Met some very amazing people - women, I mean. Everyone there were so passionate about this non-profit organization, and they're just there to help out (and to have a good time)! With their own good willing wills:)
& They're on facebook too!
I have to say, that little dan attached to the side of the church, full of donations up to the top of the walls and volunteers buzzing around; it's quite the big feeling.
Okay, let's see, how many names I remember here... Cathy, Carol, Janice, Julia, Bev... that's it I'm afraid. But there're more of course.
I want to thank them for all the great hearts. And I'll be back!

Got the honor to re-do Elaine's grandmother's pearl necklace. It's just taking it apart and string it back in place.
It turned out pretty nice. Now the necklace can really put into use in the present.
Okay...there was somehow left-overs after I decided the final look of the necklace. So here comes the bracelet, Elaine!
When I got colours stuck in my head...

...this is what I get.
Almost the whole month of July, I didn't do any regular beading. Bead projects were not shining in my head; which it happens sometimes. Then I knew something else would turn out in my little off-balance brain. I started to want to paint very bad, which that happens sometimes too, especially when I got colours stuck in my head. You know, the feeling that when you see some interesting combination of colours, you get every exciting; and sometimes you see those similar colours in your dreams?
Ya, this is what happends:p
